The Ecosystem Alliance invited a number of soy and palm oil partners to the Netherlands 27-30  October 2014. Expert partners on soy came from Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Bolivia and partners on palm oil from Indonesia. With peers from the Netherlands they discussed land governance progress and challenges in their countries, and potential collective strategies.

The internal expert reflection and strategy sessions were followed by an event (October 30th) "Beyond certification: solutions to responsible agro commodity governance" where findings and recommendations (and a Call for Action) were presented to Dutch policy makers and international private sector representatives.

CALL FOR ACTION SEE DOCUMENT LIST ON RIGHT SIDE.
